Add a little bit of toy stuffing.
5th round Dec 5 times. | 5 sts
Fasten off. Use a tapestry needle to pick up all front loops from last round and pull tight to close. Then sew pompom to tip of hat.
ARMS (MAKE 2)
Using US E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook and yarn A, make an
adjustable ring.
1st round 5 sc (dc) in ring. | 5 sts
2nd round Inc in each st around. | 10 sts
3-5th round Dc (dc) around.
Change to yarn B.
6-11th round Dc (dc) around.
Add toy stuffing. Flatten arm and work next row inserting
hook in both layers.
12th round 5 sc (dc) both pieces together.
Fasten off, leave a tail for sewing.
SLEEVE CUFFS (MAKE 2)
Using US E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook and yarn C, ch 15.

BELT AND SKIRT OF JACKET
Using US E/4 (3.5mm) crochet hook and yarn D, ch 52.
1st round Skip 2 ch from hook, hdc (htr) in each of next next 50 ch, turn. | 50 sts
Change to yarn B.
2nd round Ch 1, 45 sc (dc) flo, leave remaining sts unworked, turn. | 45 sts
3rd round Ch 1, 45 sc (dc). | 45 sts
Fasten off and weave in ends.
TO MAKE UP
Use sewing pins to check position of all pieces before sewing them in place.
Use yarn A to embroider Santa’s nose between eyes.
Sew moustaches just under nose. Then sew beard under moustaches.
Sew arms to sides of body, across round 21.
Sew belt to body.
Sew legs to bottom of body.
