Todays daily new amigurumi free crochet pattern is Amigurumi Pippi the Party Kitty.
I want to give you some informations about this pattern ;

Materials:
– 2.5mm hook/C-2 (US)
– 4ply yarn/fingering
– Less than 50g yarn in GREY, BEIGE,
BLUE, PINK and MINT
– 7mm safety eyes
– BLACK embroidery thread or 4ply yarn
– Scissors
– Tapestry needle
– Polyester toy stuffing
– 9mm Plastic safety eyes (optional)
– Stitch marker (optional)

Abbreviations:
– ch = chain
– MR = magic ring
– sc = single crochet
– inc = single crochet increase (2 sc in one stitch)
– dec = decrease (sc 2 together)
– sl st = slip stitch
– BLO = back loops only
– (..) = repeat the space in brackets the given number of times
– [..] = total number of stitches

Notes:
– Amigurumi is stitched in the round (unless it says otherwise).
– A yarn with no stretch is best for amigurumi, I ordinarily use cotton or cotton blend.
– When changing colour, yarn over the new colour and pull through on the stitch prior.
– For this pattern, the following yarns were used:
o GREY = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “818 Glacier”
o BEIGE = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “816 Parchment”
o BLUE = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “808 Arctic”
o PINK = Bendigo Woollen Mills 4ply cotton in “805 Pink Rose”
o MINT = Hobbii Rainbow Cotton 8/4 in “024 Mint”
– I use a 2.5mm hook with 4 ply yarn but everyone differs. Generally, the hook you use for amigurumi will be a smaller than for other crochet as you want the stitches tight.
– The yarn thickness and hook size used will affect the size of the finished item. My Pippi the Party Kitty is approximately 13cm tall (5 inches).
– I have used plastic safety eyes for this pattern but you may choose to embroider. Please ensure that there are no loose fittings.
