Supplies:

  • 2 colors of sport (5 ply) weight cotton – I used Drops Safran (100% Egyptian cotton; 50 g / 160 m)
  • crochet hook 2.5  mm
  • polyester fiberfill
  • black safety eyes (Ø 8 mm)
  • black felt
  • black embroidery thread for the nose
  • darning and embroidery needles

Abbreviations:
ch – chain,
sc – single crochet,
st(s) – stitch(es),
rep – repeat


  • WORK IN CONTINUOUS ROUNDS. DO NOT JOIN OR TURN UNLESS OTHERWISE INSTRUCTED.
  • IT WOULD BE WISE TO USE A STITCH MARKER AND PLACE IT IN THE FIRST STITCH OF EACH ROUND TO MARK THE BEGINNING OF IT.
  • LEAVE EACH PIECE A LONG TAIL FOR SEWING.

BODY

Start with main color. Crochet from top to bottom.
1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]
3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [18]
4: (Sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [24]
5: (Sc in each of next 3 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [30]
6: (Sc in each of next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [36]
7: (Sc in each of next 5 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [42]
8: Sc in each st around

Attach safety eyes between rounds 10 and 11, 6 stitches apart.
19-22: Use contrasting color. Sc in each st around

Close the hole in the bottom of the body. Embroider a nose.

EAR (make 2)

Use contrasting color.
1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]
3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [18]
4-7: Sc in each st around
8: (Sc in next st, sc2tog) rep 6 times [12]

Attach the ears on the head, skip about 4-5 rounds from the top.

LEG (make 2)

Use contrasting color.
1: Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
2: (Sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 2 times [8]
3: Sc in each st around

Attach the legs to the body, skip about 3 rounds from the bottom.

ARM (make 2)

Use contrasting color.

Attach the arms to the body, one round above the black stripe on the body.
