I want to give you some informations about this pattern ;

Supplies you`ll need:
– Aran (10 ply) weight merino wool – for example BBB Filati Full (100% merino wool; 50g / 90m) or Debbie Bliss Rialto DK (100% merino wool; 50g / 105m) – small amount of 4 colors
– Crochet hook 3 mm
– Polyester fiberfill
– Safety eyes (Ø 6mm)
– darning needle
Finished size: 9 cm / 3.5 in
Skill level: easy

About the pattern:
– Work in continuous rounds. Do not join or turn unless otherwise instructed.
– Use a stitch marker and place it in the first stitch of the round to mark the beginning of it.
– Leave each piece a long tail for sewing. Instead of weaving them in after sewing the pieces together, pull some of the yarn tails out at the proper place for the tail and some at the top of the head. Cut them to 1 cm long and untwist using the darning needle as a comb.
HEAD
Crocheted from top to bottom.
1: Light blue. Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
2: Work 2 sc in each st around [12]
3: (Sc in next st, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [18]
4: (Sc in each of next 2 sts, 2 sc in next st) rep 6 times [24]

6-11: Sc in each st around
Insert the first safety eye between round 9 and 10, then count 5 holes to the left and insert the second eye in the next hole. Close the washers from the inside of the piece.

Fill the head with fiberfill.
BEAK

Crocheted from the bottom up.

Fill the body with fiberfill. Sew together with the head.
LEG (make 2)
Pink. Ch 7, starting from the second st from hook sl st in each of next 3 sts. (Ch 4, starting from the second st from hook sl st in each of next 3 sts) rep 2 times. Finish the leg with 3 sl sts on the beginning chain.
Sew legs to the body.
WING (make 2)
1: Yellow. Start 6 sc in a magic ring [6]
2: 2 sc in each of next 2 sts, hdc and dc in the next st, ch 2, sl st in the second st from hook, dc and hdc in the next st, 2 sc in each of next 2 sts. Connect with a sl st into the first st of the round.
Sew wings to the body.
