I want to give you some informations about this pattern ;

Materials and Tools
– Yarn: 1 or more colors.
I used Catania original cotton in yellow and red.
Change of colors are only advices, you can choose your own color patterns.
– Crochet hook in accordance with the yarn you use (2.00 mm).
– Stuffing: I use polyester wool and a chopstick to stuff the doll.
– Tapestry needle, scissors.
– Safety eyes 4.00 mm.
– Stitch marker.
I used thin black thread.
– Black embroidery thread for the nose, eyebrows, mouth.
Abbreviations
mr = Magic ring
ch = Chain
st = Stitch
slst = Slip stitch
sc = Single crochet
() = Parentheses are used for repeated patterns of stitches, example: (2 sc, inc) x3 means
repeat 3 times (2 single crochet and one increase).
inc = 2 sc in the same stitch
dec = sc 2 together but working in the front loops only
EASTER EGG

Easter egg is crocheted in a spiral, don’t join at the end of each round.

Attach the safety eyes between rounds 15 and 16 with 6 stitches apart (fig 4).

I use “invisible decrease” working in the front loops only.
How to make invisible decrease:
Insert your hook in the front loops (a) and then (b), go in the front loop (a) (fig 7) and in (b) (fig 8). Yarn
over and pull through the front loops (a) and (b) (fig 9). Yarn over and pull through the 2 remaining loops
(fig 10).

How to change the color of yarn:
With the two loops from the previous yarn on the hook (fig 11), wrap around the new yarn around the
hook, pull the new yarn through the two loops of the stitch (fig 12).

Crochet 3 sc to be on the corner.
Stuff the body firmly.
Cut the yarn keeping some length.
How to finish:
Using the long tail of yarn, start from second loop. Sew the opening through the front loops by going
across each stitches (fig 15, 16 and 17).

Decoration:
Go back to round 24 and work in the front loops.
Turn the body upside down, pick up white yarn and pull it through loop (fig 18). Crochet 1 chain (fig 19),
insert the hook again in same stitch and make 1 slip stitch. Make this combination: 1 ch and 1 slst in
each front loop (fig 20, 21, 22).
● Make a chain more freely.

EASTER CHİCK

Chicken is crocheted in spiral, don’t join at the end of each round.

Cut the yarn keeping some length. Stuff the comb lightly.

Place the comb on top of body. Use the needle, insert it across a stitch of the body and the next
stitch on the comb (fig 10 and 11).
Embroider the beak between eyes (fig 12, 13 and 14)

WINGS

Don’t stuff the wings.
Crochet 2 sc more and then close the wing with 5 sc across both sides (fig 15). Cut the yarn
keeping some length.

Sew the wings to the body in two ways: on diagonal or between rounds 15 and 16 (fig 16, 17).
LEGS
Use the 2,0 mm hook.
