Yarn: Fingering weight yarn in Grey shade no. 400 Glossy Mellow Cotton Yarn (by White Rose) and Light Cream
shade no. 03 Plush yarn / Blanket Yarn / Chenille Yarn (by White Rose) Yardage: Cotton yarn – 3.30 yards
(approx 3m) and Plush yarn – 15 yards (approx 13.7m) Embroidery threads in white and black for the eyes and pink for the mouth (Similar to lace fingering yarn).
Hook sizes: 2.25mm or US B/1 and 6mm or US J/10 and thread hook of 1.5mm or US 8 (for eyes)
Other Materials:
– Stitch marker
– Yarn needle / Tapestry / Darning / Needle
– Scissors
– Fiberfill for stuffing
– Safety eyes are optional as per your preference

Head
Use grey yarn
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
Rnd 2: Inc in all 6 sts [12]
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times [18]
Rnd 4: sc in next st, inc in next st, (sc in next 2 sts, inc in next st) repeat 5 times, sc in next st [24]
Rnd 5: (sc in next 3 sts, inc in next st) repeat 6 times [30]
Rnd 6-9: sc in all 30 sts 30
Rnd 10: (sc in next 3 sts, dec) repeat 6 times [24]
Rnd 11: sc in all 24 sts [24]

Rnd 13-16: sc in all 18 sts [18] (4 rounds) (If you want to use safety toy eyes, then place them between R12 and 13, leaving 2 sts between them).
Stuff the head firmly with fiberfill.

Using a Darning/Tapestry needle, weave the yarn tail through each remaining 6 sts and pull it tight to close. Fasten off
leaving a yarn tail. Weave in the yarn end.

Stuff the body firmly with fiberfill.

Ears (make 2)
Use grey yarn

Sl st in next st. Fasten-off leaving a yarn tail.
Eyes (make 2)
Start with black embroidery thread
Rnd 1: 6 sc in magic ring.
Rnd 2: inc in all 6 sts [12]
Change color to white embroidery thread
Rnd 3: (sc in next st, inc in next st) repeat 6 times [18]
Using white embroidery thread in Darning / Tapestry needle, place in 4 diagonal stitches together on round 2 as
shown in image for reflection effects on each eye.
Rnd 4-6: sc in all 18 sts [18] (3 rounds)
Rnd 7: (sc in next st, dec) repeat 6 times [12]
Stuff the eye with fibrefill.
Rnd 8: dec, repeat 6 times [6]
Sl st in next st. Fasten-off leaving a yarn tail. Using a Tapestry needle, weave the yarn tail through each remaining 6 sts
and pull it tight to close. Weave in the yarn end.
Tail
Use grey yarn and double the yarn to make it thick.
Ch 10, in last chain insert additional yarn and pull running yarn tight.
Bind of some yarn over the joint.

Assembly
– With some plush yarn in your darning/tapestry needle, weave in some yarn on top of the head to create fluff as shown in image 1 and in the video tutorial.
– Fold the ear in half and sew 3 sts together to form the ear as shown in image 2. Sew the ears with the flat edge over R14 – R15. The front of the ears should be 10 sts apart.
– Mark the points for sewing the eyes between R12 – R13, leaving 2 sts between them as shown in image 3. Sew on the crochet eyes as shown in the video tutorial.
– With some pink embroidery thread, embroider Shaina’s mouth as shown in the video tutorial.
– Attach the tail to the centre back as shown in the video tutorial.
– Sew on all 4 stuffed legs as shown in image 4.
– Sew the head onto the body as shown in the video tutorial.
