Legs – Make 2

Starting with beige
Round 1: Create a magic circle with 6 SC

SC in the remaining stitches around the leg. When you reach the chain make a SC across each of the 3 chains. SC in the remaining stitches of the next leg and SC across each of the 3 chains again. You will have crocheted on each side of the chain. (42 SC) This completes your join and is where your next round will start.

I spaced my ‘V’ with 3 stitches between the outer points and 2 stitches in on each side of the eyes. Lastly, create a line straight down from the center of your ‘V’ covering 2 rounds.

Pull the circle tight and slip stitch to the first petal to close, fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Leaves –
Make 2

Complete the following inside of a magic circle; SC, HDC, DC, TR, Ch 1, TR, DC, HDC, SC. Pull tight to close and secure, fasten off leaving a long tail for sewing.

Assembly –

– Place a front and back earpiece with wrong sides facing each other and sew together. Pinch the sides together at one end and sew together to form the shape of the ear. Be sure to leave your remaining tail for sewing onto the head. Complete this step with the second ear.
– Sew the ears onto the head at round 41 on each side.
– Next, sew the arms onto the body centered with the head at round 27.
– Sew your flowers and leaves as a ‘crown’ between the ears across the head. Optional – Hold in place with sewing pins to find desired placement.
– Lastly, cut 2 strands of beige and 1 strand of white approximately 6 inches long to make the tail. Using your crochet hook, pull the strands through a center stitch on the back of your lamb. Next, pull your ends through the loop and pull tight. Next, braid the tail to your desired length and knot to secure. Trim any excess.
